Footie therapy
After today's earlier trauma I feel it's essential to post something cheerful. Hence this lovely photo of my one true love Teh Skipper that I ripped off found on the official site.
*smooch* Congratulations to John, Frank, and the ubershiny Maka for making the FIFPro team. I'm so proud of my boyos. <3 Which reminds me, I really need to order a Maka kit. He needs more love and besides, how cool is that name? Makelele, Makelele, Makelele. W00t! /sad
While we're on the subject of shiny goodness, today's CTVO update featured JT and Maka reflecting on their awards, plus Frank basically drooling on himself describing John as the best central defender in the world. He conceded that he might be biased but maintained that he "really enjoyed playing with him." *facepalm* Then, because I wasn't dead enough already, it showed John having a kick around with a terminally ill boy and talking about how little trouble it was to spend a few hours brightening his day. He was laughing because the kid nutmegged him and just being so incredibly sweet and I think I'm going to go dig my heart out with a spoon now. *could not possibly love him any more*
Also discovered today that Wayne Bridge came through a full 90 minutes for the reserve team (4-0 win) without problems, so hopefully he'll be back with the first team soon. Which will mean more photos like this:
