ADAM GARCIA IS PLAYING FIYERO IN THE LONDON WEST END PRODUCTION OF WICKED!!!
OMG YAY. I love Adam Garcia... he has such a natural, witty delivery, and whilst he may not be the best filmic actor, he's a great singer and an AMAZING DANCER (remember the Sydney Olympics opening? That was him! And in Bootmen... that was a crappy movie but the tap-dancing Aussie bogans totally did it for me in their Blundstones.), not to mention he's totally gorgeous AND Australian, and quite probably my future husband, =P and this is going to give him the kind of wider fame he deserves! YAY.
PLUS The show includes the one and only Idina Menzel (!!!) reprising her role as Elphaba, and another up-an-coming Aussie actor Helen Dallimore as Galinda!
*excited*.
Now, the only problem is... how do I scrape up enough cash to fly to London at the end of the year? =( Humm.
ETA: For those who still can't place him... remember that piece of cinematic brillience Coyote Ugly? Remember Violet's cute Aussie boyfriend? Remember when she got him up on the bar and auctioned him off, and he did a striptease to raise the bidding price? Yeah. Dass what I'm talkin' bout!
