Drag Queens R Us
The partay was awesome... and yes, I actually made it there! Long story... but even though I was there like, an hour after everyone else, I made it! Looking fabulous of course. I made a lot of the costume myself. (Will show pictures if I can upload them later). But halfway through the night I got ichy and ended up taking half the costume off. Yes, my friends have now seen the likes of me in a skimpy little black minidress, skank boots, fishnet stockings and with neon pink hair. XD Speaking of which, I luuurve the colour and am definately going to dye my real hair pink some day very soon. Yay. =D
Saw my Krippety there, which was cool. It's good that she has a livejournal now, because I don't feeling like going "Hey! It's that girl I used to know!" when I see her. LUV YOU KRISPY!
Gave Elly *hot* socks and a pink beanie with a bow on it. Cos, everyone knows the only thing better than animals on heads is doofy bows. =D
Whilst Elly was upstairs, went through CDs and DVDs. Conversation went something like this:
Me: *bored voice* ...some classical music...
Kris: next...
Me: ...some Japanese rockstar...
Kris: next...
Me: ...Queen Best Of...?
Kitty: Cool, but no.
Me: ...Willy Wonka... wait a sec!
Kitty: What?
Me: Omg!
Kris: Willy Wonka...?!
Kitty: Willy Wonka!!!
Me: Omg Willy Wonka!!!
Emma: *in background* Hey, that guy looks like Michael Jackson.
Sooooo we all got excited (for all you non-Aussies, it's because Willy Wonka doesn't actually come out in Australia for another week or so), and sat down to watch an illegal version of Willy Wonka. (This was after watching Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. -One of my favourite films EVER, AND Australian =D ). We skipped the start because everyone wanted to get to the acid-trippy bits in the factory. We only watched about half an hour but OH MY GOT TRIPPY CREEPY NESS. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have certainly done a good job but *shudder* Creepy. Completely Creepy.
Everyone had the HOTTEST shoes on. I don't want to spaz out on shoe-porn or anything, but OMG HOT SHOES, especially Jenny R's WHICH SHE GOT AT AN OP SHOP FOR ONLY $7. So jealous.
In other news, everyone's been doing the Random Question meme I told them to do, which rocks. I liked it so much... *Manny Black-Books voice* I'm going to do it again!
