TRIPOD WERE AWESOME AT HE COMEDY FESTIVAL!!!
HOWEVER I WAS DISAPPOINTED TO FIND THAT WHEN I LOOKED UP 'MOMEDY' ON WIKIPEDIA, TWAS NAUGHT TO BE FOUND. ALAS.
AND even though I had no money to buy merchandise (well, I did, but I wisely thought about saving it this time!) and no camera, I still got in some Tripod photo ops (courtesy of Michele and her clever camera-bringing skills) and got them to sign my ticket.
*YAY*
I'm totally all Tripod fangirly now.
I may have added them to my Myspace...
I loved all the exciting variety of instrumentation. Is it weird that that was one of the most exciting things for me? I was like "Woo! Keyboard! Woo! Drum machines! Woo, Yon on Kazoo! WOO, YON WITH TRUMPET! Woo, randoms with drum and double bass just appearing in the background!
Ohhhhh it was a good night.
I wrote "Gatesy is the Sex" on the back of Molly's car. Just so the world could know.
and YAAAAY I got a hug from Scod.
Scod was very nice and actually had conversations with us. Interacting with the plebians!
Can you tell I really enjoyed it?
Yeah, but for those who haven't gone and are expecting something like previous Tripod shows, it was VERY DIFFERENT. It was more like a mockumentary-story-skitshow thing than their more common 10-funny-songs-smooshed-together-with-hilarity-in-between thing.
BUT IT WAS AWESOME.

(oh, and I got to see Mimis apartment in the city. It was awesome. If I could afford renting I'd so be in there with her permanently. =D )
