I have GOT to stop posting cryptic emo posts on my LJ.
Anyway.
My sister came home today!!!
Then she went out with friends, so there was that excitement gone.
Also Penny called from Canberra! But I had to hang up because my sister came home halfway through. *sigh*
I'm looking forward to Urinetown auditions!
But I get irritated by the fact that it's a Monash production but anyone's allowed to audition. Which is ridiculous of me because of course I'll want to keep doing it after I finish Uni anyway =P plus, they don't call it community theatre for no reason. Hee. Anyway I was thinking of what to use as audition song and I was thinking something Belt-ish from Thouroughly Modern Millie, maybe, just cos I'm in love with TMM. But then the website suggested Schadenfreude from Avenue Q and I just can't go past that, can I! =)
I finally FINALLY called Jess W last night and we had a nice long chat. It sucks cos I hardly ever have the chance to speak to her. For those new to the journal, she's been my friend since we were 6 or 7 years old and she's awesome. But we lead completely different lives so it's unfortunately hard to keep contact. But she is good. She has dyed her hair blonde and got a pet bunny. Hee!
Awww I'm listening to this fantastic (slightly) old song Monsters by Something For Kate. Yes it's only about 6 years old but keep in mind that is about one third of my life. Anyway. I always forget how much I like it. When it came out I was kinda apathetic to it because it wasn't as PopTastic as my tastes were still are but it always draws me in. Look up the lyrics or something, it just... I dunno, compells me.
Oh and I watched I, Robot tonight. That movie was much better than I expected it, although it had some minor plot holes. Still I really liked it. It causes you to question things, which I think is a good mark in a film. I really liked the conflict of the Psychiatrist/Engineer woman when she had to... well I won't spoilerise you but when she was "about to do what she had to do to Sonny" and was conflicted over whether it was right to ... do. >.< Also I loved Sonny in that bit. In fact I quite liked Sonny overall... he was like Adam from Buffy the Vampire Slayer only without the annoyingness, superiority complex, and violent tendancies, and WITH an awesome clipped accent. Anyway.
Uni is kinda scary. But I think I like it. Think. AHHH. Don't know.
I love one of my subjects.
I am intiregued by one of my subjects but utterly confused by it.
I am not really liking my third subject at all, which sucks because it should be my favourite. But this will hopefully change.
Baaah it's 11.51pm now, I'm sleepy.
Tomorrow I have to ....fix "stuff".
Also start something.
Also I have an Opera thing in Melbourne Town Hall. Eek!
Also I am wearing the worlds most adorable underwear ever. They're pretty and lacy, not in a SEX ME NOW way, but also not in a prudish OH HIDE MINE BODY way. They're Sunflower yellow. =) This is all not information you needed, I know, but I LOVE underwear. Seriously, if I were a celebrity putting my name on everything label-able, I would start (and likely stop) with an Underwear line. No lame perfume or cosmetics line for me!
Anyway. I would show you if it didn't invlove me posting pictures of me in my underwear on the internet. Cos those things get around. =/
xox now it's 11.57 OK I'M GOING.
