woe, my face! my beautiful face!
Today in drama I was mucking around improvising a scene for my solo where Mary is captured and the officer sits on her to hold her down. I lying on my belly with a stick behind my neck and trying to think how I could make it look like I slammed my head down on the ground without hurting myself, and actually did slam my head down on the ground.
I have a carpet burn on my chin. =(
I also finally got to do workshopping time with Andrew... erm... I've forgotten his name, Andrew Blackman? Australian actor, went to NIDA ages ago. ANYWAY I did some workshopping with him and it was so good, I wish I could've done more but unfortunately I didn't have much to work with. We played with my big stick for a while. =P
Aww, all the young'uns were in the drama department doing Grease auditions today. D'awww, they were all so excited. And then I spoke to Steph Lacey about it after school... she rocks so much. Seriously, she's like a childstar and everything and yet she's still so down to earth and nice. Anyway she's auditioning for Marty and I hope she gets it cos I love my little Dulcie. =P Plus she's one of the few people in the world who know that Marty actually has a solo in the musical - not the movie. YAY GO STEPH.
Speaking of after school... my Dad is sick, so he came home from work early (he NEVER takes sick days, but he's quite ill at the mo... I think I gave him my ailment). But do you know what he ended up doing? Handling phonecalls from everyone who couldn't handle ONE MINUTE without him there. He's lost his voice now. =( Poor Dad.
I was in a good mood today (mostly). I hope it lasts.
