I am really lucky in cards
With a little prodding, I've started a twice-monthly Texas Hold 'Em game on every other Tuesday when Becks is at the Oakland City Council meetings. I had made a new type of gingersnap/molasses cookie for this poker game and EVERY SINGLE COOKIE got eaten. Every one! And I got a cheese plate and crackers, my friend Liz brought a baguette and another friend brought olives and fruit. Other people brought wine and it was a freakin' great pseudo-dinner. Great!
Tonight was our first game and I totally cleaned up! And I got four of a kind on one of the last hands! Totally unheard of. :D :D :D :D We each put in $5 and I ended up with $20! Woo!
