You know, people wonder why politics is so ugly.
But dear god, just look at a political forum! People who are all basically from the same party spend hours and hours fighting and arguing with each other, and yet they all have basically the same opinions. Look at Clinton and Obama, their plans differ by roughly five percent or so, and yet they attack each other.
WHY DON'T YOU PEOPLE JUST LISTEN?
I mean, I don't agree with Ron Paul about the income tax, but that doesn't meant that I refuse to listen to him, especially on subjects such as Iraq.
People get so caught up with the political party thing, how it's YOUR party, and therefore, the other party is evil, because if your party were evil, then you wouldn't be on it.
Life is basically high school, but with bigger stakes, and worse shit happens when you fuck up. There are cliques, but instead of laughing at the rest of the school from the safety of a lunch table, they do it on the news, and at rallies.
I think that instead of "everybody lies," my new motto should be, "people are all deaf and blind."
