I'm not in Madison, but this guy needs to be taken off the ASMSU representatives. In very few ways, if any, does this guy represent Madison (he probably wouldn't have hired a Diversity Coordinator...). Most people probably voted for him only because he plastered his name everywhere, which is sadly what the voting process has become: whomever gets their name out more than their opponent is more likely to get elected.

I wrote an angry letter last week to ASMSU about Bristow's original agenda--the one that said if "you are a leftist, communist, socialist, or moderate, please do not contact me to represent you. You are not my constituent." I've read his recent edit, which I believe you are refering to (since when does LGBT = spread of AIDS?!), and, not surprisingly, I am still apalled such a moron exists. I have yet to decide if I will continue writing annoyed e-mails about his idiotic, discriminatory goals.
You are right; I know he is barely a blip in the larger scheme of democracy on campus. It is sickening, nonetheless.
My only solace is thinking that dipshits like him will never be respected by beautiful, intelligent, witty brown ladies like myself. Haha, and the ultimate revenge, he'll never get to see one of us naked...

Soooo glad to see this has been on somebody else's radar, though... the thought of how many people probably STILL aren't aware the college is being represented by this type of person is mind-boggling to me.
