Being Human 2x07
I liked this episode; it was deliciously dark.
1. The whole Mitchell/Daisy thing worked really well. SO much better than that George/Daisy thing earlier in the season, which I now think was totally unnecessary and gratuitous. It makes sense that Mitchell would become completely unhinged like that, and Daisy's response to Ivan's death was heartbreaking.
2. NINA!!!
3. I liked Annie being bored by the whole exorcism thing.
4. I didn't like the weird camera thing they were doing while George was trying to get home as he transformed; that whole sequence went on for WAY TOO LONG.
5. I'm glad the whole George/Sam thing seems to be over now. That was always doomed, and watching them was painful.
6. George is going to die next week, I'm sure of it. I was pretty sure that he was going to die this season after I saw S1, and when we saw Tovey in EoT2, plus the rumours about him joining Torchwood I felt even more certain of it. My prediction: George and Nina will both be slated for execution at the next full moon, and Annie will only have time to save one of them, and that one will be Nina (possibly George will sacrifice himself in some way). We will then get an official announcement about TW S4, where we will learn that Tovey is joining the cast as Ianto 2.0* (now with new and improved woobie!face).
*I don't think Alonso necessarily needs to be Ianto 2.0, but I don't trust the writers enough to hope that they'll do anything interesting or creative with the role. Which is a shame, because Tovey deserves better.
