Merlin 2x13
Okay, there is NO REASON that Arthur shouldn't have learned about Merlin's magic in this episode. It would have been the PERFECT opportunity to have Arthur come awake and see Merlin doing his Dragon Lord thing, but NO.
It's like they're scared of significant character development or something (and maybe they have reason to be, given how badly they botched Morgana's "turning evil" arc).
There was definitely some great Merlin/Arthur in this ep though, which was much more compelling than the Gwen/Arthur. Without Morgana there, Gwen is quickly becoming "love interest" only, instead of a character in her own right. Does this show even have the potential to pass the Bechdel test anymore? I think Gwen was the only female character with a speaking role in this ep...
