MOAR STUFF

• I'm not doing NaNo this year (not that I ever have done it). Instead, I am Finishing My Thesis. As in, seriously. By the end of November, I want a thesis that is ready to send to my proofreader. And... I actually think this is achievable. Wow.
• I'm feeling particularly ready to take on the horrors and stresses of thesis-finishing at the moment because of the awesome weekend I had, visiting misswinterhill, in Canberra, along with
  iamshadow and
  kath_ballantyne. There was an art gallery, a space tracking station, Sherlock-watching and CAEK. Yay for fandom goodness.
• Merlin -- I continue to be disappointed with Morgana's characterisation but the fact that Merlin and Gwaine are OBVIOUSLY DOING IT is making me feel better.
• Torchwood -- I am going to make a prediction about S4. Mostly I'm making this prediction simply becuase I make predictions all the time and don't write them down, and then when they actually happen I can't be all "VINDICATED". So my prediction is that Gwen and Rhys will break up at the end of S4. Or, more specifically, Rhys will leave Gwen in America, while he will go back to Wales, taking their child with them. Gwen will be heartbroken, but she will stay in America, with Jack, Tosh 2.0, and Owen 2.0 in order to continue their Important Work. I'm not saying that Jack/Gwen will necessarily happen, but the way for future Jack/Gwen will definitely be paved. However, I'm also not ruling out the possibility that Gwen and Rhys will get back together in S5.
  
  
• I've been so thoroughly unmotivated to write fic lately. I'm still writing original fiction, but fanfic... I have a few ideas for fics that I feel like I should write, fics that I would be excited to read if someone else wrote them... but I can't seem to motivate myself to write them.
