Oh, Remus. I have such a major love/hate for these angsty ones. I love them, but REMUS NEEDS SNUGGLES. SIRIUS SNUGGLES (as in, snuggles from Sirius, not a pun on his name).

Really, though, I love it. It's quite lovely, even if it is capslock inducingly sad.

What a beautiful line. I do wonder how many years Remus beat himself up for a lie-- for not seeing something that was never there to see. And it's worse, thinking of Sirius on this same night. Thanks for this lovely, poignant, and painful fic!
