So, as I type this, my girlfriend is over the Atlantic Ocean, on her way to a semester in France. It's going to be tough - I'm not sure we'll get to talk or communicate whatsoever every day - but I'm excited for her and I think she'll have a great time. After one year and about three months of dating (it really doesn't seem that long - having classes and a girlfriend makes time fly), I can say honestly that I've never felt this way about someone else. It sounds corny, but I know of no other way to put it. She understands and accepts all my quirks and faults, and at that I am grateful and amazed. She complements me well, forces me to think from a different perspective and has made a positive impact on my musical tastes. I'm going to France over Spring Break and I'm sure this semester will go as quickly as the others, but the first couple of weeks will certainly be interesting.

On a lighter note, I probably have the best schedule in the world - 12 hours, all math, and one meets once per week for one hour. I have no classes Tuesday and Thursday. Three of these classes are in the brand-new business building, which has yet to develop a scent of must. The only thing that worries me is algebraic topology, a notoriously difficult branch of mathematics; but hey, my girlfriend's gone, so I have more time to study, right? That class also has a final worth 50%, a potentially deadly percentage.

Does anyone know how to find decent prices on airline tickets?
