Unfortunately experienced some skunky beer in my fridge last night. One out of three bottles was fine. But thank goodness for that one.
Exploded seltzer can #2 of the past several weeks in my freezer last night. Waste of seltzer. Last time, it was entirely frozen when it happened, blew the freezer door open, split the can straight down the middle, and all I had to do was clean the ice out. This time it was not frozen. I heard it at like 1 am, got up to check and see if the door was open, which it wasn't, cracked it open, heard all the seltzer fizzing out, and decided I should shut the door and go back to bed. So I did.
At 4-something am, I woke up, and there was a bird chirping out my window and it would not shut up. I wanted to shoot the thing. "Tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet---" arrrgh! Silly nocturnal birds. Even if it was early morning to it.
Perhaps most significantly, I played the piano for about 15 minutes today. It's like running 5 miles totally unconditioned and out of shape.
This weather is gorgeous. I want to move somewhere warmer for a couple of years.
