Had an interesting meeting with my broker today. She is overwhelmed with the whole running a brokerage thing and I suggested she should consider joining the brokerage I am with in GA, they have been wanting an Orlando team. I am hopeful, i love working in this small group and the only complaints I have are the lack of organization and clarity in policies and borker support that I think this could solve. I honestly think she got in a little over her head with a bit too much idealism and not enough ability to leverage her time.
Joining Palmerhouse would give me exactly the balance I want of leadership and still being a boutique group with a nice brand. We both even have the same color scheme already.
Then I dropped my car off for some maintenance and went to Universal for a couple of hours. I rode the Hulk which I now love, it is a great swirly intense coaster with no giant drops. My favorite kind. Then the dealership fucked up their shuttle service royally and I ended up standing there for almost 2 hours looking for a shuttle that they did not even dispatch for an hour... fuckers.
On the plus side the morons did a repair without giving me any estimate first. I actually love when they do that because then when he said the repair would be $99 I said no, it is not important enough to me right now, I will think about it for a future time. (my driver's side back door suddenly had electrical issues with the window and locks like 2 years ago right after the accident, I am sure it was just a wire that came loose) So about 20 minutes after he sent me the "estimate" He texted, oh hey, tell you what, we will fix it for free!
I laughed so hard, they totes got busted at their sneaky little game. I feel no guilt since the shuttle was such a fiasco and they forgot to reset the flat tire light that turns on every year when we get a cold snap even though they supposedly rotated the tires.
On the drive home I noticed that two speakers that had not been working for ages suddenly worked. Yay magic electrical fixes!
Also, after being checked over, car still doing great, no issues found (knock on wood). I LOVE TOYOTA.
