~Inside the comfort room~
I put my right hand on my nape. I looked up, and looked on the mirror.
"Aahhh..!!! This isn't supposed to happen!."
tears started to fall on my face.
"I d-don't know... I don't know how to end this..
I started it and I have to finish it
But I- don't know. Oh God! please..help me! I can't pretend anymore.!"
I sighed. I sat on the tiled floor Sobs started to be heard.
"Sungmin, you started pretending, pretending that you can't remember, you finish it. You've got to find a job, this isn't right to just rely on him. Getting free clothes and now a phone? Oh, God."
I stood up and tried to stop crying. Washed my face. But it took me minutes to finally control my tears from falling.
"Smile when you get out!"
I opened the door and walked to our table.
But I was surprised to see no one sitting.
"Kyuhyun-ssi?.."
I ran around the coffee shop but still didn't see any sign of him.
I asked the waitress if he saw someone who was sitting with me at our table. I described what he was wearing.
"Ah, I think the one you're talking to was the cute curlish-haired guy, am I right?"
My lips curved a little after hearing what she said. (and the word 'cute')
"yeah, that's him. Have you seen that guy? You know where did he go?", me still smiling.
"Hmmm... he already paid your bill before going outside sir"
My smile vanished.
"What?... y-you mean? you mean he already left?"
"Yes sir, he was running when he went out, probably something urgent came up"
"A-ah. Okay. Thank you"
I walked outside worriedly. I touched my pocket hoping there's somewhat a coin for my fair so I can go home. But I only got the phone in my pocket.
"Oh, yeah, I'll just call him"
"The number you dialed cannot be---"
I failed to reach his phone.
I can't exchange my phone just for a cab, so I decided to just walk on the way home.
When I got home, I went straight to Kyuhyun's room, didn't even got a chance to rest.
I knocked on his door.
"Kyuhyun!...Kyuhyun-ssi!"
no answer.
"Are you okay?"
Still no answer. I thought maybe something happened to him like he got stomachache or sick or anything. I went down and asked the maids if they have a key to his room but they all said that Kyuhyun doesn't give them the key to his room but only the keys to the guests room.
I just decided to let him and just talk to him next morning. Maybe he's sleeping or doing anything that he doesn't want to be bothered.
So the next morning, after I got up from bed, I asked one of the maids again.
"Excuse me, have you seen Kyuhyun?"
"Sir" she bowed to me and I did bowed too to show respect.
"Master already go early in the morning. He did not mention anything sir."
I just nodded and sighed.
I realized Ryeowook didn't show today. Usually, she comes every morning.
I went outside and saw the delivered newspaper and a box of strawberry milk at the gate.
I quickly ran to get them.
I read the newspaper and checked the classified ads while waiting for Kyuhyun.
Then, with the help of my new phone, I started to call for any available jobs.
"Good day, Ma'am/Sir, I've read in the newspaper that you need----
....can you please give me the job as soon as possible? I really need one"
I've said those lines several times but some didn't agree to give the job quickly. But luckily,I got one and they told me that I could start next week, so I was really happy.
"*sigh* I feel boring. I usually wake up seeing Kyuhyun around" I murmured.
---
later that night, Kyuhyun finally arrived.
After seeing him enter the door, I ran as fast as I could to greet him. I admit I missed him even just for a day.
"How's work?" I asked him with a cheerful voice.
To my disappointment, I received no answer. I again spoke, brought my good news to cheer him up. To make him happier, I called him 'hyung' because Ryeowook said that Kyuhyun likes me to be his hyung.
"Hyung! I already got a job! I will start next week!" still not removing my widest smile.
He paused and stared at me. It took seconds for him to respond.
"That's great. Then get your ass out of my house.". Then he left me.
Those words, they squeezed my heart. Next thing I knew, I sat down on the sofa, and tears rolled down. I don't know. I really don't know what he had eaten to say words like that.
---
I've been in his house for weeks.Good thing he doesn't wonder why I don't remember anything else aside from the 'what happene before the accident' thing. Three days to go, I'll start working again and soon leave his house. And within those three days, I need to think of my plan to end my 'lies'.
We didn't talk to each other since that night. I know, I should thank him a lot before leaving but how? will he listen to me?. He's always going out. I didn't got the chance too see him even for once.
---
One time, Ryeowook called me. What she told me caused me to - I don't know what's the right word to say. It just,.... It hurt me--like a lot..
"Yoboseyo? Sungmin-ssi?"
"hello? Ryeowook-ah?"
I heard her giggling.
"Can you believe it? He PROPOSED to me!"
I didn't answer. I was mentally blocked.
"Yobo-- Sungmin-ssi? Yoboseyo?"
"Ah!...er..yeah..C--Congratulations"
"Go here sometimes to help me about the plan. I hope you're okay with that. You know, you're my friend now and you're also welcome to help."
"Yeah,...sure, no problem."
I forced myself to smile after we hang up.
It's wrong to feel 'different' when you know someone close to you would marry someone. I even hit the thought that maybe what I'm feeling is jealousy but that would be wrong.
I just want me to be happy for Kyuhyun's desicion. But honestly--- I wasn't.
A/N: Augh.. really so sooorry for posting so late.
