RL babbling
Aside from yesterday's football disappointment, it was a great day.
Alkmaar was really fun and now I want to live there. It's like a mix of Zaandam and Amsterdam. Something I hadn't noticed four years ago when I went to college there.
In the evening Cyndia, my brother's Portuguese girlfriend and I went to the Portuguese clubhouse in Zaandam after we'd met a Sporting/PSV (omg bad combo much?) fan who'd invited us to check it out. Cyndia loves going to Portuguese clubhouses in the Netherlands and she'd not been to the one in Zaandam before.
There were only guys there and we watched Benfica - Sporting on Portuguese tv. It was loads of fun, especially because we talked about footie all night, they all love AZ too and we talked about United. Some of them thought I was only into United because of Cris, us BOTH being Portuguese and all... hahaha. So yeah, they thought I was Portuguese XD
After the game was over we left and headed back into town. Met a friend of Cyndia's in a bar, danced some until the fucking wankers started to play the Ajax club song. We fled the scene asap, screaming and bumping into people as we ran towards the exit. Hmpf. Ev0l. Zaanstreek traitors :p
Met up with my brother and his friends, who all had smoked joints and were rather mellow because of it, but it was okay since Cyndia and I were a bit tipsy.
Today sucked however. Queen's Day in Zaandam is boring. Have watched Twin Peaks all day long. Twin Peaks is good. Especially when David Duchovny appears in drag. Rofl.
