Weekend Blues
This has definitely not been my weekend lol.
On saturday I had Dutch Volleyball Championships with a team of 9 other girls. We won the first two matches, lost the third(they were so out of our league), won the fourth and lost the final match. So we didn't make it to the next round *sob* I was so pissed off. Stupid wanker of a coach put me on the middle position while he knows I can't play it very well and that I'm always doubting myself in front of the net, which puts the team in tacky situation because I can't spike the balls correctly on that friggin' position. Besides, they told me I was gonna play on the back row position. Yet I found myself on the middle attack position in the first two matches and also in the last match! He switched me for a girl who is 1) an inch or two taller than me and 2) spikes the ball quite nicely! And on the back row position was a girl who's several inches shorter than me and can't do a proper block! What.an.ass. He so should've switched me for her. all through the last set I was boiling over and ignored the wanker completely. So we lost that set 35 to 33 and a big cause was him switching me for the wrong player. UGH.
Today my volleyball club organised it's new years tournament which is always sooo much fun lol. We had to play against the higher men and women teams lol. So we lost three and won one ;) But it didn't matter because it was so great. Also played two extra matches in another team because they were short on players, lost both ;)
I regret playing today though. I'm sore all over now from having played 11 matches in 2 days. My right shoulder(my attacking arm) hurts like hell even when I don't move it at all. My bum muscles hurt, so do my legs, my back and every other inch of my body. My knees are bruised again and so is my left hipbone.
Gotta love that sport. And most people actually think that volleyball is uneventful and boring. *laughs*
Thanks for all the comments on my lastest round of icon postage :) I still need to reply to some people, I know. Just lazy to do so *grins* I'm glad you seem to like them so much, keeps me challenged to make more ^_^ My icon site gets about a 100 visits a day now, more than my blog gets ;)
Next icon postage shall be in a few days and will mostly contain Buffy/Angel(oh the nostalgia), Harry(possible songset) for dreamsome and more LOTR icons(of course ;).
But I'm open to more requests :) I have a feeling I promised some people to make them icons... but I've forgotten. Comment if you are one of those persons please ;)
