Rehearsal Wedding
I just got home from Eric and Natalie's wedding rehearsal and dinner. It is going to be absolutely breathtaking. The wedding will take place tomorrow night on Eric's property outside. It looks so elegant with all the white and pink. Looks like something I would want. I'll post wedding pictures in my next post. Pray it doesn't rain either. I must say, when I heard natalie and eric recite their wedding vows to one another, a huge lump made its home in the back of my throat. I don't know how I'm going to hold back the tears tomorrow...
It's not often I look in the face of love. But when I see it in my brother's face, the way I saw it tonight....the world seems like a wonderful place. As i think back on the friendship, loyalty, and commitment that they have already pioneered...I am amazed. They have gone through their hard times such as the alcohol addiction and recovery, the long distance for a year, and the discord within our families. But, as I looked into their eyes..I saw the love, friendship, and commitment that I desperately want someday. Words could not express the pride I feel in my heart tonight. Natalie is getting a gem of a guy.
