I quit Replay today! I finally quit Replay after nine months. A rather arcade-ish period of my life looks like it's finishing.
I suppose it's a good thing. A bit strange though. I've quit my first job! Yay?
Yesterday I was out of my mind. For reals. I had two assignments to hand in in the morning so I got no sleep that night and only got three hours the night before. I was almost hallucinating. I discovered a guy called Mr Smirch who is a ghost with a black collar and scribbled about him for a few hours.
The page directly following goes into a bit more detail about Mr Smirch's life. His first act of being alive was to Welcome You To Your Massacre. Unfortunately it turned out to be an ad. The disappointment was such that there were mass suicides across the country. Mr Smirch declared it a sexy success (Mr Smirch enjoys declaring things sexy successes). These mass suicides possibly led to a lot of zombies, but whether or not this was the case, Mr Smirch kicks hypothetical zombie asses.
Mr Smirch loves mermaids. He eats them with mayonaisse on toast. It is his most favourite snack. They are sweet and squishy. I spent a good portion of the evening relating how I think mermaids would taste. Kind of...jelly-like, but a bit like tuna with sugar. Is it bad that even though I've had sleep, I still find the idea of mermaids on toast a little enticing?
I also decided on the way home that I'd discovered a day between Thursday and Friday. I named it Anothersday and realised that that was where Mr Smirch lived.
I'm just a little worried I actually believed this when I thought it. Also of interest, whenever I'm really ridiculously tired I get stabbing pains just underneath my right collar bone. Weird. Did I mention I was at work while discovering Mr Smirch?
