Icon/Interests Questions from Ceci

On 4/30/07 ceciskittle did a meme where she picked three icons and three interests from my user info. I'm a slacker, but I finally did it!

1.

This is the Fox Fur Nebula. I subscribe to the Astronomy Picture of the Day and this one came up. I think the name is nifty, but mostly I think it's just really pretty with the purple and blue colors and that bright star.

2.

Eeee!! That's my Kaz kitty. She's so pretty. My favorite part of an animal is usually the top of the head between the ears. I'm guessing because if I can get the animal (usually a kitty) to snuggle with me, when I open my eyes, that's the part I usually see and it makes me warm and fuzzy.

3.

That's one of the moons of Jupiter, Callisto. Jupiter is the planet for Sagittarius. Again, through Astronomy Picture of the Day, I found lots of neat pictures of Jupiter and some of the moons. My other favorite Jupiter moon is Io, a yellow volcanic moon--RARR!. You can see it up at the top there. :)

1. mi5

MI:5 is a british TV series (called "Spooks" over there). I like it because they use people that aren't necessarily movie-star-beautiful. It's a series about agents Britain's counterintelligence sector. Netflix MI5 blurb

2. keen eddie

Keen Eddie was an underappreciated, short-lived series about an American cop played by Mark Valley (now playing on Boston Legal, but not a funny guy) who gets transplanted to Britain to work in their police deptartment. He lives with a snotty girl that hates him, played by Siena Miller. Netflix Keen Eddie blurb

3. sephora

Mmmmmm. Sephora. Make-up of most of the non-drugstore cosmetic companies as well as some skin care and an awesome selection of fragrance. Cosmetics like Urban Decay, Smashbox, Cargo, Nars, Stila, as well as their own line. Some stores might carry a certain line, while another might not, but they generally have their staples. This is how I get to try perfumes too, because if you order online you get three free samples and I get perfume whenever I can. It's much better than getting a whole bottle of relatively expensive perfume and then not liking it. Sephora is also great because you can go in the stores and sample the perfumes and cosmetics (something you can't do at a drugstore most of the time).

I tend to buy most of my make up at Aromaleigh nowadays. She's mostly mineral makeup with some traditional and hybrid products like Rocks (really intense colors like yellow, orange, black, pink, red, etc). She sells pretty generous samples with multiple applications worth.

sephora, astronomy, aromaleigh, io, callisto, keen eddie, kaz, jupiter, mi5, icons, meme
