Two new members of the Hanagan family

Alley Cat had been adopted between Tuesday when we originally tried to get him and today. I'm sad that we didn't get him. He was already neutered and declawed so he would have been a good fit for our spayed and declawed princess, as well as being cheaper to adopt.

We went ahead and adopted Dexter, a beautiful Himalayan (not sure if he's pure or not but it doesn't matter) that we think is under a year old. He goes to be neutered tomorrow and we'll hopefully get to bring him home Saturday. Dexter is a very sweet, soft boy.

I also was able to adopt Dilly, a small tortie bunny. I think Dilly is a she, which I will confirm when I take to the vet for a spay/neuter if I can't confirm for myself via bunny websites. Dilly is such a sweet bunny. If she had been adopted, I would have adopted George, an older (5 years) big lop boy.

The shelter wouldn't let me take the mice >:| but if I can get in the foster program that may be my ticket to getting more than two animals at a time in a 30-day period. I mean, these are mice! Itty bitty in a cage that takes up maybe the size of a piece of paper on a table. Crazy.

So I need to get a better cage for Dilly, return the borrowed cage to the shelter, and get her some tasty hay and better food. :)

YAY A BUNNY!!!

I still want a big Maine Coon/cross kitty though. :)
