Kitties
I had a dream last night that my mom gave me three gray tabby kittens and two black kittens for my birthday (which is three months away so no idea how that filtered in). I'm always having what I call "excess pet dreams" where I'm stressed out trying to find them all and make sure they get fed and don't breed.
Aside from that stress, the kittens were awfully cute and I woke up wanting more kitties A WHOLE LOT!
I also want a couple of bunnies and am on the lookout for a pair, but no real rush since I have to finish unpacking first. I thought at first I wouldn't be able to fit them in my combined office/pet room, but I think if I put an open cage under the table the rat cages are on, that should work.
Wednesday night I left the mouse cage open (stupid, stupid). Bobbie wasn't in the cage and I panicked because while the mouse cage is on another table, it's just a short jump to the rat territory and she'd be a dead mouse. I had a pile of towels next to the mouse cage and I'm glad I didn't jerk the towels up because when I lifted the top towel, there was sweet lil Bobbie sleeping soundly.
