How many sultanas can a female blackbird get in her beak? Far more than seems possible to me!! But she's got babies to feed back in the nest, so the more the better in one go!

Oddly enough I was just talking with a friend of mine about a blackbird and the currants she gave him.

Thanks! And yes, the little uns ate well I think! I saw a male blackbird later with a sultana and worm sandwich for them! :)
