Computer update
Yesterday, hubby ran the recovery disks and the computer started working again, though very sloooowly. He ran a check disk scan overnight and now things seem to be okay. A little slow now and then, but working! :D
That said, I'm obssessively backing up!! Do I trust this hard drive not to fail again? No, defintely not!!! But at least we have a little more time to get a new hard drive (hopefully we'll get that ordered tomorrow).
I'm happy to have the PC back as the laptop is very old and the screen quality not all that good. Now I can watch TV shows with much better clarity! I might even try making artwork on it, though I'm still nervous of it failing with no warning, so might not. Depends how long before we can get a new hard drive fitted.
