So, I was looking at a screencap from S3's episode 'On Guard' and this thought came into my head...

...and then this happened! )

I'm in the middle of compiling the newsletter and saw this and had to stop the editing for a moment to tell you how AWESOMETASTIC this is!

Of course, I'd choose Neal over Faceman any day (though damn, did I have a huge crush on Face back in the day!). Mozzie and Murdock, however, are both So Much Fun.

I have so much love for this! *flails happily*

Thank you!!! It's nice to know I'm not the only cracked person who remembers the original A Team! I had a BIG crush on Murdock for a looong time!! And I definitely have a big soft spot for Mozzie!!

Hmm, I wonder who would win in a 'con' contest between Face and Neal?! Of course, Neal is much more than just a conman, so what he couldn't con he'd just steal! And he'd get Mozzie to help him, regardless of whether that was in the rules or not!! :D

Now, why am I imagining Peter as Hannibal Smith?!! :D :D

Because Peter also loves it when a plan comes together. ;P

Oh dear, you young 'uns, what you missed out on!!! :D Actually, probably as well, it wasn't the best made TV show - though lots of fun!!

Murdock was the pilot (and somewhat mad, though how much was true madness and how much was for show has been fiercely debated amongst A Team fans for years!) - anyway, Mozzie's clothing in this ep reminds me of the sort of things Murdock sometimes wore in The A Team.

Faceman was a conman, able to get anything they needed, no matter how weird or difficult. Unlike Neal, though, he was a serial womaniser - like different woman every night, or thereabouts - but they do have the conning thing in common. And the pretty face *is shallow*!

Maybe you should watch a few eps, just remember that it was made in the eighties when quality didn't always count! But it's very entertaining, despite it's flaws (and better than the Dukes of Hazzard - just!)!!

I am not that familiar with the A Team although I do remember seeing a couple episodes. I mostly just know Mr. T. :)

Anyway, my point is that this is great.

And hee, reading your comment above, The Dukes of Hazzard, I use to watch in reruns. :-)

Thanks!! The Dukes of Hazzard was a lot of fun and nonsense and I loved it as a child - the A Team, however, always seemed to be of a slightly better quality imho - but only slightly!! :D
