Summer is Well on It's Way

So A LOT of stuff has gone on since my last entry, so I might as well start well I left off.

Kendall and I DID change the plugs and wires on my car. It took us about 6 hours or so, but we did it. I had to buy a kit of ratchets and such, but they have a lifetime warrenty on them so I will never have to buy them again. Since we are on the subject of my car we might as well stay on it! I had a really nasty noise coming from my car about a month ago, so I took it into the dealer. It was just the heat sheilds, so they took those off and everything is ok! I was so worried it was going to be something expensive, but it wasn't! I also just had my front brakes done. Besides that, it is really running well. I still have to get the belts changed out and new tires put on before winter hits. That will be another 800 dollars, but after that I will be done with maintenance stuff for a while.

Kendall got into a car accident about a month ago. He is fine, thank god, but he slid into the back of a ladies car. He car had about 3000 worth of damage done to it and the other ladies car had about 500 dollars worth of damage done. His car is fixed now and it is good as new.

Gina, my sister, had come out to visit me for a weekend of fun around June 1st. During that time we went to the Milwaukee Zoo and then we went to the Science and Industry Museum. We had a really good time and we are planning to do it again during July 16th. We have some really cute pictures of us and as soon as I get home I will be posting those up here for all to see :).

School wise, I ended the year on a pretty good note. I did not do as well in Org. Phyc as I would have liked to, but what can you do? I'm already about half way done with Summer School. I'm doing extremely well with it too. Just having one class does have it pluses. I actually pay attention and do my homework because I have time! We just turned in our papers and did our mid-term and I have an A going for me thus far so hopefully I can keep that up! I just finished filling out my FASFA Forms as well and my Estimated Family Contribution is 0 again. This is really nice because this way I keep getting all the free money. I'm going to have to take a few classes I do not want to take this year in school so it will be harder then other years. Hopefully I will be able to keep my grades up though. Only 2 more years of school. Thank God!

Work is keeping me busy like always. My co-worker just had her baby yesterday so that means more hours for me. This is good and bad. I will be working 2 more hours each Monday, Wednesday and Friday which means more money, but it also means less time for me to do stuff around the house and other things I need to get done. I am also still work at the Nursing Home. That money is paying for all my car upkeep and any mini-vacations I had been taking.

Speaking of Mini-vacations Kendall and I just took one this past weekend to the Dells. We stayed in Madison though, at one of the properties my company manages so we did not have to worry about paying for a hotel room. This saved us quite a bit of money. The first day we were there I took Kendall to a place to ride Jet Skis. We had a great time and are thinking about buying some in the near future. Then we did Miniture Golfing, where he beat me by 2 strokes, and then we did a place called the Wonder Spot. Supposedly this house sits parrell with some volcanic rock which causes a gravitational pull on it. It really does feel like you are being pulled towards the rock, but I still don't believe it. On the second day we did Noah's Ark. I was SOO proud of Kendall because he went on everything except 1 super tall slide. He really doesn't care for rollercoasters so I felt this was a very big step in the way of getting him to ride them. During this vacation we were both in very good moods and we have been in very good moods lately. I think we should definatly take more vacations

Since we are on the topic of vacations, we are in the midst of planning on a trip to Florida during my spring break. One of my co-workers mother's works for Choice Hotels which includes Comfort Inn, Clarion Inn, Fairfield Inn and all of those. Anyways, they have a thing where friends and family get rooms for 39.00 per night so that will be quite nice for Kendall and I. During this vacation we are going to do swim with the manatees, swim with the dolphins, Sea World, a Water Park and MAYBE Universal Studios. We are still planning so we will see. We are also planning a Trip to South Dakota next August, but that is still very tentative.

Hum, that is pretty much it. Life is pretty good right now and I'm pretty happy with it. Hopefully I will be able to update more often.
