Okay, so recently I've been needing a little stress relief. So in order to actually play a stress relieving game and not watch my game load forever, I installed an old game I used to play before The Sims 2 took over my life, many, many, many years ago. It was called 1503 AD. I forgot how much I love that type of game. However now I would like to play a more updated version of that kind of game. The only problem being I'm not really down with what's out.
So my question is this:
Do you know of any city-building type strategy games that are fun to play and open ended?
Are you familiar with The Settlers? Amazon is always recommending it to me when I search for 1503 AD on there.
Dawn of Discovery?
In a world of WoW, which I'm not smart/knowledgable enough to play (trust me, it's been attempted.) are there still games out there for the casual gamer, who isn't as into that kind of game?
So I was just wondering. I'm thinking about buying The Settlers, but I don't want to make that kind of purchase without knowing anything about it. My sister and Mom bought me Sims Medieval for my birthday, which is fun, but I need a Sims break I think!
