I was talking with my cousin Cassie about businesses and The Sims. I decided I should definitely make more of an effort to learn the ins and outs. So I remodeled A SOWHUT CHRISTMAS.
Statue room is in the upper left. Misc. Figures in the upper right. Various yard things in the lobby.
Very Cheap Discout Room in the upper left. Wall hangings in the upper right. Trees and Tables in the upper lobby.
If only I can figure out why uniforms burn off eyebrows. A bunch of people walking around in Santa suits would have been fun. Just like the Star Trek uniforms.
Unfortunately, it took me awhile to get the employees settled. So a line built up.
I ended up needing a sales person too, so I hired Datura Flora (shoefleesims)
I don't know what I did, but it's working. ^.^ I really would like a business not to run in the red though.
Uh oh. The natives are getting restless. LOL.
I did eventually figure out my Discount room was the hit... Unfortunately, no one is buying anything else. :(

Back at the ranch, The kids all bring people home everyday. LOL. As if I didn't have enough on my plate!

I was trying to go for a tiny little shop. My stuff is either too big or too small. This one seemed a bit too small.
Not a lot of product space, but it's quaint.
Enough room for pet supplies and pets though!
You see this little hallway? It's an evolution of my past counter realization. Keeping the register lines out of the way!

So something about the registers wasn't working. I had to take out the wall and the second register. I think the wall was too close to the register though.
