Is this the real life, is this just fantasy...
WELL THE WORLD IS WEIRD RIGHT NOW.
It's April 2020 and we are in the middle of a global pandemic caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19). I have been in quarantined since March 9th, meaning I have not been able to leave the house except for essential trips - which Evan and I have deemed as the grocery store & the park - for 35 days. We both have been working from home and basically just watching the world burn. It's such an insane time.
Speaking of insane... I am also 40 weeks + 3 days pregnant... so there is that. Evan and I are not only watching the world burn during this global pandemic, we are days, hours, minutes, maybe even seconds away from bringing a new person into it. We don't know what we are having, and with all of the virus issues going on our "birth plan" is non-existant. We will be on expedited timelines to get in and out of the hospital once the baby is born, and will most likely not be able to allow any visitors within the baby's first few weeks or maybe even months.
It's really a very strange world we are living in, but it's also been really nice. Evan and I are in our new house/farm in Marlborough and have been able to do a lot of work on it. We have the nursery all set up and have not killed each other after being around one another for 24 hours straight for over a month. So next time I write I will officially be a mom... let me repeat...
