feeling oh so good!
so I was worried about my final project for form and space. I liked the way it looked, but I was thinking what if he doesn't like it so much since it's not that abstract, it's simply a big light ball.
Anyways, I got to class and to my surprised everyone liked it =D We did the whole voting for the best project again at the end of class, and guess what?! I won again =D Instead of giving me $1 he gave me $5 =D that's so awesome!! 2nd place winner got the dollar.
So we had a lamp sale for class. While doing our critiques, people outside of class were able to come inside and look around. I felt so good that majority of the people would point to my lamp and be like "wow look at that one!" Under each project, there was a piece of paper underneath it for people to bid on the lamps. I didn't want to sell mines since I worked so hard on it and I just loved it, so I set the minimum bid to $150.
Again, another SURPRISE!! Someone actually bid on my lamp, he goes by the name of Daniel and he bid $175 on it. I totally made history here at the Art Institute. It's the first time Vu ever made a lamp sale, and I sold my lamp for the highest price. That's just so cool.
The downer for today kinda sucked (I guess you can have everything), after class I went to the dmv to try and get my california drivers license. It was 36 questions and you could only get 6 wrong. I got 9 wrong =(... In hawaii we didnt have to deal with any railroad stuff, so I didn't answer those questions correctly =x.
Overall I had such a good day =D I don't feel like such a loser anymore. I was such a newbie at school and still hurt by an instructor telling me im unexperienced, but look at me, i'm learning as much as I can and doing the best that I can and I've been very successful.
