The marathon training continues, and with each passing week and increasing mile I beam just a bit more with pride in myself for completing each step of the way! As of this weekend I am up to 12 miles, and although exhausting, its also amazing!!

One of the great parts about the team is that each week we have someone share an inspirational story to keep us motivated. Recently one of our coaches shared her story and I find her to be incredibly amazing. She's a single mother who works full time, and has 2 little girls, one who is in remission from acute lymphocytic leukemia. Laura's family is one of many that has benefited from the research done by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as their patient and family services. As if that wasn't enough, Laura is also our coach, and is training for a triathlon herself! What an inspiration!

So I ask you to please consider donating to help me achieve my goal, while also helping fight/cure blood related cancers. If you are unable to donate, please (please please) pass this along to 5 (or 10 or 20...) friends. I won't tell you that you'll have bad luck for 50 years if you don't, or that you'll never find the love of your life... but it could bring some good karma your way!!

BONUS: Until the end of August I will be entering everyone who makes a donation of $10 into a drawing to win a pair of Red Sox tickets for the 9/12 game (rest assured if you don't live in the Boston area, you can decline and I will draw a new name, or you can put them up on craigslist/ebay/stubhub). If you donate more than $10, I will enter your name in more than once, so for example if you donate $30, your name will go in 3 times :-)

Thanks so much for your support, and I hope you all have a great day!!
