- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 apples (peeled and cut up)
Combine and put in unbaked pie crust.
Mix following:
- 1/2 brown sugar
- 2 Tbsps margarine
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pour over apple mixture (if you'd prefer, you can nuke it a bit to soften it before pouring it over). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on what kind of apples you use. I found that it burned if I cooked it to 1 1/2 hours, but I like my apples well done. You may want to cover the edges of the pie crust so that it doesn't burn, and then remove for the last 15 minutes of cooking. Make sure to keep refrigerated.
