I haven't been able to get on to LJ since Friday afternoon so I'm sorry if I've missed anything important. I'm going to try and catch up on my f-list between cooking dinner and cleaning up.

This weekend was a blast! Friday I went to the sorority suite and got caught up with the actives.
Saturday we all got up bright and early for Homecoming. Stopped at Eat N Park for breakfast to minimize the cries of "I'm hungry!" that are a constant reminder of our parental status. Other than being a bit windy the day was beautiful! I tried to take photos but I ended up taking pictures of the kids mostly :) I always have a great time hanging out with my sisters :D
We did have to leave early because we had a cookout that evening. Especially because I wanted to make sure Aeryn got a decent nap.
We headed home and I made my Slow Cooked Kielbasa with Beer and Sauerkraut (the cookout had an Oktoberfest theme). It really made the house stink! I hate sauerkraut. Ed liked it though :- )
Aeryn took a nap and since we had time to kill before we had to leave Ed and I took a "nap" and then we did actually get to sleep for an hour. It was quite nice ; )
Sunday we didn't do much. I got some things done around the house and we headed to the Waterfront to window shop / hang out. We didn't end up watching the Steelers because the game didn't start until 8:30 pm and our bedtime is 10 pm. Of course becasue we didn't watch, they lost : (
Yesterday I had the day off but I was so busy I was barely online. I had to do all the laundry and a lot of shopping. The plan was to shop first thing in the morning, head home so Aeryn could nap, and then head back out to a few more stores and get home to pick the kids up from school. Yah.
That didn't happen. We've all had a little cold and it realy started bothering Aeryn yesterday. On top of that she has a pretty sore tushie from diaper rash. I managed to sqeeze in Office Max, Target and Wal-Mart in the morning. Got home, fed her and put her down for a nap. I figured she'd sleep about an hour and then I could get more of my errands done.
She slept 2 1/2 hours! She got up at 1 pm so I thought I'd feed her and dash off to one more store before I had to pick the kids up at 3, but at 1:30 she was tired/cranky again! I put her down for another nap at 2 and she slept until 5 pm!!! My poor baby : ( At least with all the napping I was able to get a lot done around the house.

I've started the Santa / Xmas gift hunt.
I've been prompting the kids to make lists so I can spread out the purchases between now and Xmas. I todl them they have to have it completed by Nov. 15th because we have to email it to Santa, and that's his deadline.
Of course Celest's list is composed of Wii video games, Pokemon cards, and Pokemon GBA games. She's also asking for a new DS. Thomas is asking for Transformers, cook stuffed dragons, a R/C car advertised on tv, and his own DS. Right now they share one DS and there is almost constant strife over who's turn it is, whether some one can erase a game, etc. They figured if they both ask for one, Santa would HAVE to get them one.
Ed and I talked about it and we decided to get one for Thomas. Celest always gets the new toys while Thomas gets the hand downs. Luckily they've come out with a new red and black one this year. Right now we have an all black one. Previously the only other colors were white and pink. White would get filthy and pink..... Thomas would be very upset with Santa.
