There will be new Lee on TV! Tonight! On "NCIS: New Orleans"! At 9:00 pm ET! On CBS!
The official CBS episode description:
Special Agent Pride opens his bar to the public with a Fat Tuesday party, but the celebration is cut short when he and Mayor Douglas Hamilton are both kidnapped from their respective Mardi Gras events and held hostage by an unknown assailant.
I'd say the odds are pretty good that Lee plays the "unknown assiailant." Maybe he gets to tie someone else up for a change! *g*
Be sure to watch! I know I'm excited!

IN ADDITION, last week WGN America released an extended trailer for Meloni's new series "Underground," and it included several brief glimpses of Chris. (We are now exactly one month away from the show's premiere.)

ALSO last week, Law & Order: SVU was renewed for an 18th season, and Warren Leight (the current showrunner who came on board after Chris left) gave an interview to the Hollywood Reporter that resulted in much fandom *drama*. Apparently, if SVU had NOT been renewed, Leight was going to try to bring Stabler back for a final (i.e., proper) good-bye, despite the fact that he's spent the last few years publicly disrepecting Chris and his fans (it's a long story). Here's the original article, which was subsequently picked up by just about every entertainment media outlet in existence:
Law & Order: SVU Boss Reveals Scrapped Plans for Possible Christopher Meloni Return (I often wonder how the Stabler-era SVU fans would feel if the show had just gone the Fontana route and killed his character off.)
