I totally missed this post (as up to this point, I had specifically not read anything about the play so I would go in 'blind') but now that I read your synopsis ("two women who were friends in college and then one went the rockstar career route and the other went the rockstar mom route, and now they're jealous of each other's lives and something something with Lee Tergesen as "the prize.") I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. Oh, irony.
