(no subject)
So it's been a really long time since I posted... Last was at the end of April. In May, I went to a festival here in Vegas and decided to go on the Slingshot, which is kind of opposite of bungee jumping except you're strapped into a 'pod' with your friend. Did it twice in a row and absolutely loved it, it made me want to go bungee jumping.
Things are the same at work really, nothing ultimately special.
I've decided to purchase a house (or townhouse for that matter). I have been pre-approved for a fixed rate 90% conventional loan with VIP status (won't need to provide taxes and paycheck stubs). I find it all really exciting. My credit score is higher than I've ever seen it, and the payments on my loan will definitely be live-able, with or without renting a room out. I feel bad for this, but I'm kind of happy that Nevada's the number 1 state in foreclosures and has been for a year and a half because it gives me a better chance of finding what I want at a decent price. Now all that's left is finding a home I'd be happy in (or happy fixing up as the case may be). I hope to find something late October - early December.
That's about all really... I've been spending a lot of time with friends and my "surrogate" Las Vegas family (an actual family, not a bar) =P And in August, I'll finally get to meet my new niece!
