Howdy! Its tuesday night and my journal is in need of a post! XD I seem to feel inadequate if I don't, even though the only person I know actually reads my posts is myself...perhaps I make myself feel more important, like talking in an auditorium thats empty...and to my invisible audience I ask, shall we?

This episode was a little bit of a borefest, since it was mostly flashback as to how the Millefiore family was formed and stuff...
but Uni-chan is so cute! (When she isnt posessed/brainwashed or whatever O.o)
Though I have to admit, all the girls in Reborn are pretty cute/pretty (haha, pretty pretty? XP). The art doesn't seem to have any room for ugly girls, they all end up doe-eyed or sexy-like...
which is basically how the guys end up too...most of the time XD
Talking about this brings me sadness though! Because for about a month or more I've been watching my show in Japanese...WITH NO SUBTITLES. So I basically catch little bits and pieces of what people are talking about, but in most aspects of the show I am left to fill in the blanks by their actions...it isn't too hard to decipher what they might be talking about, but its nice to know exactly whats going on...because Funimation sent out deaththreats err letters to fansubbing groups asking them to "cease and desist" said fansubbing, even though I don't think they even got the licence to dub it yet. Its a little aggravating sometimes when Funimation gets into things, asking for people to stop WHEN THEY DONT HAVE THE RIGHTS TO A SHOW YET. Please stop playing the police and leave the fansub groups alone. They may not be entirely illegal, but I like fansub groups. I don't want to go out and buy an anime DVD that I've never seen before that someone says is good, I want to watch a few episodes, see if its okay, then buy the show. Thats how you do it with normal shows, do you really think someone is going to buy the first season of How I Met Your Mother if they never saw the show? NO. They're going to watch it, and if they like it enough they'll buy it. And the previews/1 free episode stuff? Bullshit. How can you tell if something is good or not with 1 episode? Take Baccano (hooray Baccano!). On the site, they have 1 episode you can watch for free and a preview of the DVD. My friend decided to go see what all the hoopla was since she knows how much I adore it ^^ She didn't understand a single thing that was going on (haha since its kinda like haruhi suzumiya with the whole out of sequence thing) and I had to explain a few things to her. What if she was a potential buyer? Nobody wants to go out and buy an anime after seeing one episode, unless it was that incredible and confounding to them (which, btw NEVER HAPPENS). What was I ranting about again? XD

I kinda wanna read the manga, but I'm a little lazy and dunno if I wanna start from the beginning or where the anime had ended. My lazyfuck senses tell me to start where the anime ended, but because I only know which book it ended, and everyone in scanlation land goes by CHAPTERS (damnit) I'll probably start from the beginning...
also, that photo is starting to scare me, I think I'll post one that doesn't frighten small children as much...

I never thought I could actually lovev an anime character enough to want to jump into the screen and hug them until they suffocated. Chibitalia is that cute! I almost die from an overdose of cuteness when he comes on screen. I have to refrain from squealing as I talk about him, and its getting really hard. I'm starting to get really pissed at the people who translate and scanlate the Baccano novels and manga. WHATS WITH YOU GUYS?!? You leave holes where there shouldnt be, you take 500 years, and your pages where I try to find manga and translations DONT MAKE SENSE!!! I feel like Holy Roman Empire chasing around Chibitalia trying to catch him in an extremely difficult maze.

Its very frustrating only having the first 2 chapters of the manga...
and I'm dying waiting for the new Midnight Secretary and High School Debut chapters to come out...@.@
