amen; you have to admire the woman for what's she's done with her life and how she hasn't let it affect her.

And, of course, there's the wonderful playground that she created for us in the process... that doesn't hurt either... :)

not to mention that she's just a great human being; how many authors would give the money from one quarter of their published works entirely to charity?

How do you reckon it's supposed to be pronounced? I immediately read it as "spongin'" as in sponge - as in he's spongin' off his dad. But then I wondered if it might be spungen with a 'g' like get or go. But that's meaningless whereas spungen...

I read it like sponge - but with more of an 'u' (in put) than an 'i' for the e.

Heh. The lightning bolt wasn't too bad for me, but then doing it with a Wacom pen amd tabled made it MUCH easier. I spent an inordinate amount of time taking screen caps of the various treasures. That bloody OotP thing... was it sideways for eveyone else? Mine was sideways, and I just couldn't read it like that. So I had to copy it in sections (cos I wanted the big version), paste it all together in photoshop and finaly managed to print a copy off that I can refer to at my leisure. :~P
