Here We Go!
Dear Diary,
Here I am in beautiful Xing once again! Well...actually all I've been able to see is Ling's room, since I caught a pretty nasty cold. But Ling promised we could go feed the koi in the gardens once I'm well enough to start running around again. I can't wait! I bet the garden is even more beautiful in the sunlight. It has one of my favorite memories. I had my first kiss out there, remember? It was a couple of pages back. Ha ha, I'm talking to my diary again. I blame the Xingese medicine! :) :) :)
Everyone's been very nice to me since I got here. Ling is so sweet. He sleeps in the chair by the bed, just to watch over me. I asked him if he would sing something for me, and he sang this really beautiful song in his native language. I wish I knew the words. He's got a great voice, though, I love listening to it. It's strong, but gentle. It soothes me.
The oranges in Xing are delicious!
Finals are over at last. I got third rank again, yay! I think Uryuu got first. That's not a big surprise, he's the smartest person in our whole class. Maybe the whole school. He studies so hard, he really earned it.
I can't think of much else to write at the moment, and I'm getting a little sleepy anyway. Things are going really good right now, and I'm very happy here. It's like I told Ling, I haven't had this much fun being sick before! I loooooooooove him.
