Power of Technology.
+ It's amazing nowadays I see so many people have their photos taken with a group of friends/family and then there's a laptop there, with Skype on it with another friend/family member. The power of technology. Could you even remember/imagine what life was life sans technology? We wouldn't even really know the other part of the world actually exists. Yes, we read/learn from history but there's no real way of knowing the other part of the world unless you really travel there.
+ I miss those days where you actually write letters to each other. I used to have this great pen-pal in Sweden that I've lost touched after high school. I found her through Facebook. Again, power of technology. If there wasn't internet available, I wouldn't have met Scott. Power of technology, again!
+ Sometimes we get so caught up by having the best gadget among our friends or get the latest technology out there, we often forget about the little things that actually matter in life. Things like a hug, just looking into each other's eyes, real conversations.
+ Lesson to be learnt: Don't take things for granted.
