Everyone should go and see
Let The Right One In. It is magnificent. It's billed as a horror film, which is a little misleading: it deals with horriffic themes (vampires), but not in any way I've ever seen the genre handle them. There are no sudden, shocking moments, no gratuitous gore: it is tender and tense, and I found myself holding my breath several times. I walked straight out of the cinema and bought the book it is based on, which I had been planning on reading for a couple of years. It's very different, but just as wonderful.
Seriously: see this film.
