Oh, I Didn't See You There
Hello LJ. It's been awhile. I keep making promises about updating more often, but those promises fall flat.
So you'll take what you can get and love it!
It's a Saturday night in April and soon Matthew, Tom and I will be heading out the door for another concert. I'm done with winter and staying indoors, and now that it is spring I've been out every chance I can get.
Like today I spent time with mooglegrl as we walked up and down the Short North. Lunch at Bodega was tasty and relaxing even if the service there blows.
Last weekend we hosted a party here at Mod House. It was quite successful as well, with a cookout and plenty of people stopping by. We met the neighbors who happen to be really great people and I hope we get to hang out with them more as the spring rolls into summer. I plan on having a few more gatherings as the garden I've planted starts to produce fresh veggies. Yes! I started a garden! Cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, peppers, jalapenos, and a handful of herbs as well as four strawberry plants. Hot damn!
Hm, what else is going on with life? Oh, I quit The PAD so I could commit more to working at Raney. So suddenly I have my weekends free (which is a complete shock to me) and instead I work Monday thru Friday and taking two classes. I'm slipping comfortably into office life.
The spring also brought good news! Matthew found a job at Jeni's Ice Cream in the North Market. It's such a wonderful place for him to work, and it has taken a lot of stress off of both of us.
Well, my spring is coming along quite nicely, and I hope the trend continues upwards through the rest of the year. Hope the rest of you are doing well!
