Valentine's Day more or less came this weekend. ninjer treated me to a fantastic dinner at Betty's in the Short North. We even got dressed up, a rare occasion to be sure. I got a little tipsy on a Betty Beer (vanilla vodka and root beer) and fine dined on their special Surf and Turf Sunday dish. We treated ourselves to some fried plantains as well, a first for me!
Sunday night was spent playing board games, a sort of blast from the past. Oh, and a I baked a delicious cake filled with cherries and homemade whipped cream.
Oh! And Friday we switched cable companies. We have free DVR for a month, which means recording LOST so I can watch it over and over and over again. And also BBC America. But today was spent watching "No Reservations" with Anthony Bourdain.
