Thanks to my Visual Culture class this quarter, I can never look at commericials the same way ever again. I hear you get the same effect with any Womens Study classes as well.
This Valentine's Day there's only one gift guaranteed to get women to take their clothes off
Because women never like to take their clothes off for US so we must coarse them to
Spoil your wife or girlfriend and give her what she really wants
Women only want superficial material goods and to get naked for you
She'll think of you every time she puts them on
Forcing you to think of her so that she'll never stray, feelings of control
Every Pajama Gram is delivered in a hat box she'll love
Oooo! Accessories! Trivial goods! Lemme at 'em I can't resist!
... And a "Do Not Disturb" sign
because she'll need to give you sex after you give her this gift
All that spa stuff women just love
Yay! More things I don't really need, but it'll look like you tried to be sensitive and think about MY feelings
It only takes minutes, but she'll think you spent weeks planning it
Because women aren't smart enough to figure out the sending address on the package, or the logo printed on the box, or to remember this commercial that they watched on TV. Plus now you don't have to spend time on the woman that you love!
It's a gift you'll both love
Because you'll get sex. And she'll like it because she's giving you sex. And what could make a woman happier than pleasing a man
So it's really not about her at all. It's a gift for you. But the commercial is narrated by a woman, so you'll believe that a woman knows what a woman wants and you won't have to waste time figuring out what she'll really like or appreciate.
