Shadow and Rascal
Shadow has been her for 10 days now and Rascal has not ben downstairs for the last 9 days. Mum's taken pity on her and takes her tea up to my room when she feeds the other 2 cats. Although she's thinking of putting it on the stairs and gradually moving it down 1 stair a day. Rascal can be stubborn when she wants so I don't see Mum's plan working. The only drawback to Rascal not going outside is her claws don't get worn down and she starts tip tapping across the wooden floors. Mum and I took her to the Vet when we first arrived to get her claws cut. It took a muzzle, a towel around her neck used as leveredge and 2 people holding her down to get it done. Not for the fainthearted.
Shadow is such a delight. She was outside with me on Monday and when I went inside I called her and she came. I nearly fainted, Rascal just ignores me and tries to hide in the bushes. Shadow has decided her 'spot' is on the low china cabinet. It is the perfect position as she can see both ends of the house, the stairs and the patio and when she wants a fuss she can just walk off it onto Mum's lounge chair.
