New addition to our family
We have a new cat. The other 2 aren't very impressed. Rascal has been hiding out upstairs. She ventured down a couple of times but saw the new cat and headed back up. I've even had to take her tea up to her.
Dad had a cage out at one of the places he works to catch a cat they had been seeing on the security cameras for a month. She'd already gotten the food once without getting caught but on Saturday evening Dad thought he'd check again. He bought her home since no where was open to take her. Mum gave her a wash and she's a beautiful thing. Cream with lilac points and an incredibly bushy tail. She's been dumped (she's toilet trained). All that's in that area is industrial buildings and bush. The residential area is miles away. Mum and I took her to the Vet this morning to be checked, wormed and vaccinated. She's 12-18 months old, underweight and recently had kittens. Dad's keeping an eye out for them but who knows. Her new name is Shadow (I wanted to call her Penelope) and after a shopping trip this afternoon she has a new collar, tag, bed and litter box. We have to wait 4 weeks before she can be spayed so she'll be inside till then.
