Kitty Kat Splashdown!
Hehe. I gave my kitty a bath today. Needless to say she did NOT like it. Although no obnoxious meowwing or crying she was quite fierce. It's tough when she has such sharp little kitten claws. She would try to "pounce" out of the bathtub...like I wouldn't be able to catch her. I used baby shampoo and it really wasn't too terrible all things considered. I took a sad little picture of her all wet and rat-looking sitting in the tub. I thought that the bath would be the hard part but i was mistaken. It is drying her off that is the worst part. I towel-dryed her as long as she would tolerate, would give her a little break, and then try it again. Then i TRIED, and failed miserably mind you, to use the blow-dryer on low to get all nice and fluffy. She was not having any of that. So, with only a few scars and a very wet bathroom she is cleaning, smelling like a new baby.
It's storming badly here right now. On my way home from work tonight I had to pull over and stop under and overpass because the rain was so hard that i couldn't see. Plus it started hailing and I was not going to deal with that while driving. Wow..I just walked up and actually looked outside and it is POURING outside, thundering, lots of lightening. I LOOOOOVE tstorms. I just wish our porch had a larger over-hang so that I could sit outside and enjoy it. Our parking lot is flooding though. My only regret is that I don't have Daniel here to cuddle with and watch the storm....I guess I apply that feeling/statement to most everything that happens on a daily basis because I never see him. I always wish that he was here with me...*sigh*.
Well..time to go fight with the kitty again to try to make sure she doesn't get a kitty cold!
