That's said.
Basically, I hate all those end-of-year events because it always end up like crap. This year was promising through, but it was even worse than before.
I initially wanted to go with the korean exchange students from my uni, but having no news and stuff (way too much complicated to explain, let's say it's misunderstandings due to cultural differences) I agreed to go with Emilie in a trendy club for golden youths... Spent the whole 31st hunting for the perfect dresses... found them after 4 intense hours of shopping on the Champs Elysées... -not to mention I had to exchange TWICE the clothes I originally wanted to wear, because of size problems and well, it was just CHEAP LOOKING.- and getting ready... we were just looking so fine... so we went there and first surprise, the guestlist Emilie registered was a fake and we had to pay normal price aka 45€ -it was 25€ on "guestlist"-... while paying I already had doubts but Emilie wanted to go so much...
So basically it was MAJOR SUCKAGE. DJ coming from NY or not, there was hardly one hour of mix worth having fun. People weren't open to others and nobody would talk to anybody else but their friends they came with. And no Asians !!! ok, 2 of them. But no way to approach them. -_-U Other boys were more in search of a hole -sorry for the crudeness- than seeking relationships. And those poor little rich guys were so arrow-minded... yeah I'm wearing glasses, do you just IMAGINE that there is people who actually like it ? anyway... They weren't even able to dance properly, poor them.
As soon as Emilie found a proper company, I sneaked out at 2h30 to come back home. There should have been subway all night on some lines... especially ours. BUT THE STATIONS WERE CLOSED. The closest was one-hour walking from where I was, and no way to get a taxi too, so I ended walking house... I arrived at 4h30 here, having cried a lot from panic -I was scared alone in dark, lonely streets and lost at some point- and exhaustion.
To sum-up, I learnt that a beautiful dress would never make a swan from a duck.
It brings us to my new year resolutions :
- knowing where I belong
- study more and more and more !!!
- getting my korean-related files sorted
- learning all Jaejoong's siblings names, Wonder girls' Tell me dance and words
- paying back all my loans -which aren't that much but still-
- do not gain weight, but muscle all up
I will not make any resolutions for being "a better person" or things like that, because those kind of things happen just naturally when learning from our mistakes. So, yeah, it's not a resolution, it's a everyday way of thinking.
Anyway, I hope we will have a wonderful year altogether !!! <333
